A silver collar strung with coral red beads, carrying five dramatic pendants — a crescent moon, a large pearl, a violet enamel dagger, star motifs and sword drops, finished with a citrine briolette.

Having grown up in Amdavad, I've watched the city transform — from a quiet, aristocratic place rooted in centuries of culture, into a vibrant, contemporary one that never lost its soul. This necklace was designed to hold both. Every motif is a different thread of that history — Mughal, Gujarati, colonial, modern — layered together the way the city itself has layered its eras, one into the next. And at its centre, a crescent moon that is not coincidence: Shashikala means the phases of the moon, the woman who held everything together.

To wear the Amdavad Necklace is to feel magnificent, celestial, complete — old world grace, worn with a thoroughly modern spirit.
