Founder's Note
Aditi Amin did not set out to build a jewelry brand. She set out to solve a problem she felt personally — as a woman who had lived between two worlds, who understood both the weight of Indian tradition and the freedom of a modern, global life.
Educated at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, and shaped by her roots in Ahmedabad, Aditi returned to India with a clear-eyed view of what was missing. Not in the market — but in the conversation around Indian fine jewelry itself.
There were heirlooms worn once a decade. There was fashion jewelry forgotten by next season. But nothing in between. Nothing that honored Indian craft without asking a woman to dress around it.
That space — honest, enduring, and deeply personal — became UNCUT.
Founded in September 2019, UNCUT was built on three principles: design with intention, craft with integrity, and make jewelry women genuinely live in. Every piece imagined, designed, and brought to life entirely in India — hallmarked gold, certified Polki diamonds, honest materials.
Two distinct worlds emerged. UNCUT Festive — for the moments that become memories. UBAA — for the woman who wears jewelry just because she wants to. Two lines. One conviction. That Indian fine jewelry deserved a new kind of voice.
Today, UNCUT is trusted by Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt, and Kriti Sanon, and featured in Vogue India, Elle, and international press across the UK, Middle East and Southeast Asia. At the heart of it all is UNCUT House — Aditi’s private studio in Ahmedabad, where clients experience jewelry not as retail but as relationship.
For Aditi, this was always the point.
Jewelry has never been only adornment.
It is memory. It is expression. It is a way of being.
